Environmental Testing

Our Environmental Testing Laboratory provides comprehensive analysis of a wide range of environmental parameters, analyzing Air, Stack Emissions, Noise, Illumination, Work Environment, and Meteorology, all in compliance with MoEF/PCB standards.

The lab has been fully upgraded to assess National Ambient Air Quality (NAAQS) 2009 parameters, as specified by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF & CC). We also conduct testing for all required parameters set by the CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) and SPCB (State Pollution Control Board). Our facility is equipped with advanced technology for testing Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and heavy metals.

Our Testing Process

The test process in an Environmental & Ambient Air Pollution Testing Laboratory is aimed at monitoring and analyzing the quality of ambient air and emissions to determine pollutant levels, assesses environmental impact, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CPCB, TNPCB, EPA, WHO, MoEFCC). These labs conduct both ambient air monitoring, stack emission testing, Indoor Air Quality testing. Noise level Monitoring, Illumination Level Monitoring. Steps involved:

Types Of Tests

 

Air quality monitoring is the way to tackle the threat and consequences for the population of breathing such toxic substances in the atmosphere which, at the same time, affect other living beings. To achieve this surveillance, air quality monitoring has emerged as an essential tool for detecting pollutants that worsen atmospheric conditions and determining their concentration at any given moment.

Respirable Suspended Particulate Matter (particle size less than 10 µm) , Fine Particulate Matter  (Particle size less than 2.5 µm), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) , Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), Ozone (O3), Ammonia (NH3) , Carbon Monoxide (CO), Lead, Arsenic , Nickel , Benzene

Emission monitoring is the process of measuring and recording the release of pollutants into the atmosphere, primarily from industrial sources.

Pollutants discharged into the atmosphere by stacks and ducts may include particulate matter, gasses, fumes, and vapors.

Noise monitoring is the process of measuring and assessing sound levels in various environments to ensure compliance with regulations, protect public health, and mitigate environmental impact.

Noise Level monitoring is a major activity which involves measuring and evaluating noise, and sound levels in different situations. Monitors noise pollution in city, industrial and residential areas to minimize people’s exposure. Helps companies and industries meet noise-level rules & guidelines.
